Starmount entered their tilt with Mount Airy on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Granite Bears get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Starmount's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Airy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Starmount wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-8 win against South Stokes on the 18th. As for Mount Airy, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-3 victory against Elkin on the 22nd.
