 Alleman was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  7-1 to the East Dubuque Warriors.
 Alleman got a good showing from  CJ Carruthers, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate, Alleman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cael Kuster, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. Kuster has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last six times he's  played.
 Alleman's defeat dropped their record down to 6-28. As for East Dubuque, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alleman will take on Mercer County at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Mercer County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game  this season. As for East Dubuque, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Benton/Shullsburg at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. East Dubuque is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.
