Basketball Recap: Isaiah Richards Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

Parkdale lost to Crossland back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Parkdale Panthers took down the Crossland Cavaliers 64-45.

Parkdale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Richards, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points. What's more, Richards also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alusine Mansaray, who posted 18 points along with five boards and three steals.

Parkdale's record is now 4-7. As for Crossland, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

When Parkdale and Crossland next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Parkdale will challenge Flowers and their seven-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkdale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season. Similarly, Crossland will try to stop Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
