Armwood had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-1 to make it four. They claimed a resounding 89-52 victory over the Strawberry Crest Chargers. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Zachariah Grace produced another solid performance dropping a double-double with 35 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sebastien Lefranc, who shot 67% from the field en route to 19 points and five assists.

Armwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests dating back to last season.

As for Strawberry Crest, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Armwood since February 9, 2021.

When it comes to explaining why Strawberry Crest lost, don't look at Maximus Von Ancken. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. Jayson Lewis was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Coming up, Armwood will face off against Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Lefranc and Serigme Thiam.
