Basketball Game Preview: Mounds Golden Eagles vs. Porter Pirates

The Mounds Golden Eagles will square off against the Porter Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mounds is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Mounds had to suffer through a 57-28 loss at the hands of Caney Valley.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Porter beat Hulbert 60-56 on Monday.

Mounds' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Porter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Mounds took a serious blow against Porter in their previous meeting back in January, falling 63-22. Can Mounds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
