Soccer Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

Seguin lost against Lanier back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Seguin Matadors fell just short of the Lanier Voks by a score of 3-2. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Matadors couldn't quite close it out.

Seguin has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. Lanier pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Seguin will host Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanier, they will head out to take on Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lanier surely won't give up without a fight.
