Parker has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 25. They lost 7-0 to the Palatka Panthers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Parker of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Palatka, they moved to 6-15 with that win, which also ended their six-match losing streak.
