Connor McAfee Game Report: vs University

On Tuesday Connor McAfee pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (one) McAfee has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two hits. On the year, he has an ERA of 3.85 over 20 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, McAfee and Apopka will head out on the road to face off against Horizon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks will enter the matchup having just beaten Cypress Creek, so the Blue Darters will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
