Volleyball Recap: Ventura Comes Up Short

Ventura was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Heritage Christian Warriors.

Ventura's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Heritage Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Ventura didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Wiseburn- Da Vinci on the 23rd. As for Heritage Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mission College Prep on the 23rd.
