Basketball Recap: West Noble Takes a Loss

West Noble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Angola Hornets. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Angola's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Stuckey, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 20 points. The dominant performance gave Stuckey a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Niles Knox, who posted 11 points and six boards.

West Noble's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Angola, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

West Noble has already played their next game, a 54-43 defeat against Goshen on the 25th. As for Angola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-49 loss against East Noble on the 25th.
