Volleyball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Comes Up Short

Conemaugh Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Washington on Saturday. The Blue Jays fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0.

Abbigail Savering paced Conemaugh Valley's offense, picking up two kills. Savering got some help from Kendra Dietz and her two assists. Dietz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Conemaugh Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-14-4 record this season.

Conemaugh Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Ferndale on the 29th. As for Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Windber on the 27th.
