West Point-Beemer takes loss despite strong efforts from Colten Haber and Blaize Brockman

Recap: West Point-Beemer Cadets vs. North Bend Central Tigers
If the West Point-Beemer Cadets were riding high off their 61-31 takedown of the Stanton Mustangs on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. West Point-Beemer fell 60-51 to North Bend Central on Thursday. West Point-Beemer lost against North Bend Central in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-47 score last time.
West Point-Beemer's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Blaize Brockman, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds, and Colten Haber who scored 17 points. Haber also scored 15+ points for the first time this season. Peyton Penrose was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
West Point-Beemer's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Bend Central, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
West Point-Beemer will head out on the road to face off against Howells-Dodge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Bend Central will be home for the holidays to greet Battle Creek at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
