Baseball Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

McArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the South Broward Bulldogs, falling 10-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Damari Madry made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

McArthur's record now sits at 2-15. As for South Broward, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9-1.

Looking ahead, McArthur will venture away from home to challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Thomas Aquinas' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so McArthur's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Broward, they will welcome Hialeah at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
