Basketball Recap: Williamson Comes Up Short

Williamson lost against Athens back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors were outmatched by the Wildcats and fell 60-19.

Eli Hobday was a one-man wrecking crew For Athens. as he posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Adam Kemp was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Williamson's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Williamson will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Northern Potter at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Athens, they will take on Norwich in a tournament on Thursday.
