Basketball Recap: Ridge View Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Ridge View Raptors lost to the Harris-Lake Park Wolves at home by a 54-37 margin. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Wolves are ranked 104th).

Ridge View has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Harris-Lake Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

Coming up, Ridge View will be playing at home against Newell-Fonda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harris-Lake Park, they are taking a road trip to square off against South O'Brien on February 13th.
