The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Liberty didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past Pickens with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 60-46.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Daniel, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Everything came up roses for Daniel against Liberty in their previous meeting back in December of 2020, as the squad secured a 68-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
