Lehighton is 8-2 against Northern Lehigh since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. Lehighton is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Lehighton came up short against Palmerton and fell 9-5.

Lehighton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Behler, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Braylon Hunsicker was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Hamburg hit Northern Lehigh with a five-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs fell 12-8 to the Hawks. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northern Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lehighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Lehighton was able to grind out a solid victory over Northern Lehigh when the teams last played back in March, winning 9-6. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
