Soccer Game Preview: Tuscola vs. East Henderson

Tuscola is on a six-game streak of home losses, and East Henderson a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Tuscola Mountaineers will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Henderson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuscola lost 4-1 to Brevard on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Tuscola can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 436th, while Brevard are ranked 87th).

Tuscola's goal came courtesy of Erick Raya, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for East Henderson's offense. They fell just short of Enka by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

East Henderson now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Tuscola, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15-1.
