Bonneville is 8-2 against Blackfoot since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m.
Bonneville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Hillcrest, who was ranked tenth at the time (Bonneville was ranked 14th). The Bees fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 25-19, 24-26, 27-25, 24-26, 17-15.

Despite the defeat, Bonneville had strong showings from Allie Hall, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Shayla Belnap, who had 28 kills and 17 digs. Belnap has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 46 times she's played. Hallie Briggs also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.
Meanwhile, Blackfoot had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Skyline on Tuesday. The Broncos not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23rd (when they won 3-0).
The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 28-26.
Blackfoot's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 8-14. As for Bonneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.
