Basketball Recap: St. Michael the Archangel Comes Up Short

If St. Michael the Archangel was feeling good fresh off their 71-33 takedown of Marshall last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Michael the Archangel Guardians took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee's Summit West Titans on Monday.

St. Michael the Archangel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Lee's Summit West, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

St. Michael the Archangel has already played their next contest (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lee's Summit West will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Staley at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
