Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Santiago Sharks

The Centennial Huskies will face off against the Santiago Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Centennial barely beat Santiago the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Centennial was the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Santiago on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Centennial got a great performance from Ian Calvillo as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jaden Walk-Green, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Isaiah Padilla was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
