Willow Glen extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Los Altos. They had just enough and edged out the Eagles 10-8. The win was familiar territory for the Rams, who have now won 13 games in a row.

Nolan Wirtz looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Austin Korba was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Ben Mudgett was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Willow Glen's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Los Altos, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

Willow Glen wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Carmel on the 30th. Los Altos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
