Hart is 7-0 against Castaic since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hart Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Castaic Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Hart didn't have quite enough to beat Saugus and fell 61-59. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 574th, while the Centurions are ranked 156th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-42, which was the final score in Castaic's tilt against Valencia on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost seven in a row.

Castaic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hart, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Hart against Castaic in their previous matchup on January 7th, as the squad secured a 70-39 win. Will Hart repeat their success, or does Castaic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
