Baseball Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Armstrong's offense. They fell just short of the South Park Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the River Hawks have lost by just one run.

Armstrong has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for South Park, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Armstrong does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Park, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Connellsville at 7:15 p.m. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
