Volleyball Recap: Cuba City Victorious

Cuba City won the last time they faced Belmont and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cubans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Braves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubans.

Maya Misky paced Cuba City's offense, picking up eight kills. Misky got some help from Emersyn Niles and her 17 assists. Brooke Terpstra controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cuba City's record now sits at 14-9. As for Belmont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Cuba City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sun Prairie East on the 4th. As for Belmont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Belleville on the 4th.
