Mt. Pleasant hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nacogdoches Dragons, sneaking past 2-1. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Dragons are ranked 91st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mt. Pleasant's record is now 9-0. As for Nacogdoches, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 8-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Mt. Pleasant take on the Tyler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Nacogdoches, they will head out on the road to take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nacogdoches is facing Marshall at the right time seeing as Marshall is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
