There's no place like home for Lakeside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Effingham County Rebels with a sharp 7-0 win on Friday. Lakeside might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Effingham County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lillie Sheffield (3), Johanna Jones (2), Marlie Sikora, and Tricia Darley.

Lakeside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Effingham County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.
