Soccer Game Preview: King City vs. Pajaro Valley

The King City Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

King City is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Rancho San Juan with a sharp 5-2 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Pajaro Valley kept a clean sheet against Stevenson on Friday. They beat the Pirates by a goal, winning 1-0.

King City now has a winning record of 5-4-5. As for Pajaro Valley, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-8-6.

King City came out on top in a nail-biter against Pajaro Valley in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for King City since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
