Their defense stepped up to hand the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams an 8-0 shutout. The Spartans' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Their offense was hitting David Posnack Jewish Day from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Jack Manhire led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory got Miami Country Day back to even at 7-7-2. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12-4.
