The Hobart Brickies will head out to challenge the Lowell Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hobart will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Hobart needed a bit of extra time to put away Andrean. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fighting 59ers , sneaking past 27-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Brickies have posted since September 15, 2023.

Willy Shearer went supernova for Hobart, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 83 receiving yards. Shearer got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 72 yards. Another player making a difference was Aleks Tatum, who threw for 219 yards and a touchdown.

Hobart's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Stephen Miller, Bryce Tolliver, and Tolliver picked up one apiece.

Brody Kalwinski was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns.

Hobart now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lowell, their record is now 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Hobart against Lowell in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 as the squad secured a 51-14 victory.
