Basketball Recap: Horizon Science Academy Find Success

Horizon Science Academy entered their tilt with East on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 63-62 W against the Tigers. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 63-61 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Horizon Science Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thierno Diallo, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 16 points along with six boards and four steals. Diallo is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 54% in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Boanu, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals.

Horizon Science Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.
