Basketball Recap: Latta Skates Past Lexington with Ease

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for the Latta Panthers against the Lexington Bulldogs as the squad secured a 68-19 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Latta is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points over those games. As for Lexington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Latta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lexington, they will challenge Little Axe at 6:30 p.m. on February 18th. Lexington is facing Little Axe at the right time seeing as Little Axe is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
