Meanwhile, Temple City came up short against La Canada on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
Temple City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.
Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for San Marino, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13-1.
Everything went San Marino's way against Temple City when the teams last played two weeks ago, as San Marino made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
