After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Payton College Prep, Schurz was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Niles Notre Dame Dons 2-1. Schurz wouldn't have won without Jonathan Ramirez, who scored the game-winner.

Schurz is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those eight games. As for Niles Notre Dame, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6-1.
