Derek Soper gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Monday. Nobody could stop him as he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Soper and Everett will be playing at home against Chelsea at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
