Basketball Recap: Golder Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Golder Panthers came up short against the Wolcott College Prep Wolves and fell 22-11. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eliana Henschel was the offensive standout of the match as she posted seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Margot Kelley was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Golder's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Wolcott College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Golder and Goode STEM Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Goode STEM Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Golder surely won't give up without a fight. Wolcott College Prep has already played their next contest (against British International School of Chicago), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
