Soccer Recap: Federal Way Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jefferson last Wednesday, Federal Way came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Kent-Meridian Royals on Monday, falling 4-1. Federal Way fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Kent-Meridian since on Monday.

Federal Way's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kent-Meridian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Federal Way will challenge rival Enumclaw at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kent-Meridian is set to square off against their familiar foe Kentlake at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
