Kaitlyn Pendleton and Deslynn Nickell secure win for Cypress Creek

In what's become a running theme this season, the Cypress Creek Coyotes gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They blew past Florida College Academy 44-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Cypress Creek has posted since December 5, 2023.
Cypress Creek was led to victory by Kaitlyn Pendleton and Deslynn Nickell. Pendleton scored 12 points along with three steals, while Nickell scored 18 points along with two steals.
Cypress Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Florida College Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek will square off against Fivay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Florida College Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Florida College Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
