Cedarcrest takes loss despite strong efforts from Kiki Anderson and Kaylee Rogers

Recap: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Edmonds-Woodway Warriors
If the Cedarcrest Red Wolves were feeling good off their 59-26 takedown of the Mountlake Terrace Hawks on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cedarcrest opened the new year with a less-than-successful 48-38 defeat to Edmonds-Woodway. Cedarcrest has struggled against Edmonds-Woodway recently, as their match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Cedarcrest's loss came despite strong showings from Kaylee Rogers and Kiki Anderson. Rogers dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Anderson scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Rogers continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Cedarcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Cedarcrest will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Park Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will head out on the road to face off against Lynnwood at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
