Hodgeman County lost to Spearville back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hodgeman County Longhorns strolled past the Spearville Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 51-37. The victory was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on six straight.

Hodgeman County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aidan Lonnberg led the charge by putting up 11 points and five rebounds. Ashlynn Beil was another key player, earning 12 points and three steals.

Hodgeman County's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Spearville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Hodgeman County will face off against South Gray at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gray knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Hodgeman County likes a good challenge. As for Spearville, they will take on South Central on Tuesday.
