Farragut won the last time they faced William Blount and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Admirals had just enough and edged out the Governors 2-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Farragut's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while William Blount are ranked 189th).

Farragut's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for William Blount, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Farragut will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Knoxville Catholic at 7:00 p.m. Knoxville Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Farragut surely won't give up without a fight. As for William Blount, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Karns on the 10th.
