Volleyball Game Preview: Pocahontas County Warriors vs. Tygarts Valley Bulldogs

The Pocahontas County Warriors will head out to square off against the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Pocahontas County came up short against Webster County and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Tygarts Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Pendleton County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since September 30th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-11, 25-6.

Tygarts Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Pocahontas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Pocahontas County came out on top in a nail-biter against Tygarts Valley when the teams last played last Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
