Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boone). Their defense stepped up to hand the Lake Howell Silverhawks a 3-0 shutout on Friday. Boone have beaten Lake Howell the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Lake Howell has come to flipping the script.

Boone hit Lake Howell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christian Fernandez, Yair Barragan, and Enrico Prado.

The win got Boone back to even at 3-3-1. As for Lake Howell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone will square off against Wekiva at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wekiva will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last. As for Lake Howell, they will face off against Crooms Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
