Basketball Recap: Ralls Comes Up Short

Ralls lost against Tahoka back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ralls Jackrabbits had to suffer through a 56-29 loss at the hands of the Tahoka Bulldogs. The Jackrabbits' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Brogan Stone was nothing short of spectacular for Tahoka: he went 11 of 22 en route to 30 points. Those 30 points gave Stone a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jasiah Perez, who posted four points along with seven assists and four steals.

Ralls' record is now 4-13. As for Tahoka, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-16.

Ralls will square off against Floydada at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Floydada knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Ralls likes a good challenge. As for Tahoka, they will challenge Post at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
