Baseball Preview: Brunswick Railroaders vs. Fort Hill Sentinels

Brunswick has been on the road for 16 straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Fort Hill Sentinels at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Brunswick is headed into the match fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Smithsburg onto the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Brunswick needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Fort Hill got the win against Petersburg on Monday by a conclusive 11-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Fort Hill.

Bobby Brauer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Brauer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a double.

In other batting news, Bryson Metz was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Cooper Silber was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with a triple, a stolen base, and two RBI.
