Basketball Recap: Gilman Comes Up Short

Gilman was the 64-46 winner over Colby when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 58-49 to the Hornets on Tuesday.

Gilman's record now sits at 13-9. As for Colby, they moved to 6-15 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gilman will challenge rival Owen-Withee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Colby is set to square off against their familiar foe Greenwood/Granton on Friday. Considering the Hornets have lost seven straight at home and the Indians four straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
