Softball Recap: Columbus Gets the Win

Columbus posted their closest win since April 27, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua Scotties 10-9. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Scotties walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Columbus now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-5 record.

When Columbus and Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Cougars will square off against Shepherd and their 11-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua will try to stop Havre's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
