Basketball Recap: North Webster Takes a Loss

If North Webster was riding high fresh off their 62-41 takedown of Doyline last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Webster Knights fell 54-45 to the Homer Pelicans on Monday. The Knights lost against the Pelicans in their previous head to head back in December of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 53-5 score last time.

North Webster's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Homer, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

North Webster will be home for the holidays to greet Haynesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Webster is facing Haynesville at the right time seeing as Haynesville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Homer, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
