After a string of three wins, the Red Level Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Georgiana. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Red Level's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Georgiana, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Red Level will take on Shields at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shields is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Georgiana, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against McKenzie at 4:30 p.m. McKenzie will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 320th, while Georgiana is ranked 56th).
