Basketball Recap: Murray Skates Past Mormon Trail with Ease

There's no place like home for Murray, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Mormon Trail Saints 65-38. The Mustangs have beaten the Saints the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Saints has come to flipping the script.

Murray pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points over those games. As for Mormon Trail, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Murray didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-31 victory against East Union on the 13th. As for Mormon Trail, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-32 defeat against Moravia on the 13th.
